Future Plans: My Plans are endless for this car, I have a SALEEN Heat Extractor Hood to be painted, New Rear Control Arms, Upgrade to Smoked Cobra Headlights, Replace Interior Carpet, Convert to 2 Tone Leather Seats, Light Bar, Tonneau Cover, Bullitt handling package, with subframe connectors. Interior Billet, Complete Custom Body Repaint, maybe add some power down the road with an engine swap to a GT or a crate motor.  Hope to have it show ready by 2009. Wish me luck!

History: This is my first car ever, and for that reason will always hold a spot as my favorite, even though my Mach1 keeps me on my toes and back in the seat. It started as a rental car out in Hawaii and slowly made its way across lower USA. It has been back up and down the east cost a few times before I owned it, and now its mine so it gets its chance to rest up as its stored in my only available garage space. Replaces about 85% of the moving parts in it and she still cannot be beaten on a nice sunny summer day, with the top down and music on.

APRIL 2008

Name: Michael Murphy
Car Year: 2008
Car Color: Highland Green
Car Style: GT/BULLITT
Transmission: Manual 5-speed
Modifications: none yet!
Car History Story: I actually took delivery on this car on February 29th, leap year, which much to my surprise and pleasure was two weeks before the expected delivery date. The day I got the phone call from the dealer I was sitting on the side of the road broken down in my 1996 Mustang which just blew a ball joint, it was as if the car knew it was about to be replaced!
Future Plans: At this time it is my intention to keep the car as stock as possible with the possible exception of hood pins, the hood has a tendency to shake at high speeds.

MARCH 2008

Name: Steve Nagle
Car Year:   1997
Car Color:  Aztec Gold
Car Style:  GT COUPE
Transmission: T45 5-Speed
Plate: N/A

Modifications: Pro 5.0 Power Tower shifter, PI intake, Pypes Race Pro manifold-back exhaust.  17" split-spoke wheels bought on Ebay.  Interior accessories include billet AC knobs, rear defrost switch, headlight knob, and Rock Crusher shifter handle from UPR.  Other than that, it's pretty much stock.  This car is my all year round daily driver, so my focus is keeping it running in top condition.
Car History: Found on Autotrader.com in August 2007 and bought from a gentleman in Dutchess County.  Unfortunately, my car had a rough/neglected life before I bought it with almost 96K on the clock.  I knew Aztec Gold was a rare color going in. It was available only in 1997, and only 1,135 Mustangs were produced in this color- rarest color for '97... still, this one was very rough when I brought it home, and I started regretting my decision at first.  The car had a severe driveline vibration that turned out to be a badly worn front U-joint in the driveshaft. (We suspected a toasted rear)  I had done enough mechanical/detailing work on it (sidenote:  MUCH thanks to my father (former owner of three 5.0's and an '04 GT), always helps having a "master wrench" around when you're in over your head!) to make it presentable for the Lions Club show in Montgomery last October, where I met Steve Mottola and signed up to join the MCOC.  I've been putting this car back to rights step by step since August, and now the smiles per mile just can't be beat.  As I type this (3-23-08) it is closing in on 103K.  Looking forward to living the Mustang lifestyle and a summer full of shows and cruise-ins!  Its nickname is "Goldmember," and this is also my handle over at sn95forums.com.

FEBRUARY 2008

Name: Joe Leonardi
Car Year:   2001
Car Color:  Highland Green
Car Style:  GT/Bullitt
Transmission: 5 Speed Manual
Plate: My Plate # is 911SRV, this is a Veteran plate given to New York Veterans,
the numbers are not vanity, it is just the next #to come up on the plates. I am very proud to be a Veteran of our great country.
Modifications: The car is basically stock, I like my high shifter handles, it now has a High Handle Hurst Slap Stick. This has been my signature thing on all the Mustangs I have owned, and there have been many, (about a dozen or so) I'm a throw back from the 60,s.
Car History: I bought the car in of all places EBAY, I still can't believe I did that. I was always taught if you can't drive the car don't buy it, but I took a shot on this Bullitt and it was the right decision It was located in Bridgeville PA, just outside of Pittsburg. With only 1123 miles on it I took a chance and it paid off. So on May 15 2006 I got on a bus at Port Authority headed for Pittsburg and the rest is history. I have all the history on this Bullitt and intend on keeping it for a long time. My Bullitt is # 5256 out of 5582 built in 2001. I want to thank all for making my Bullitt Ride of the month. We have a nice bunch of people in our club, I am proud to be a part of it.

Car History:
In 1984 we purchased our 1st Mustang.  It was an Orange 1978 GT Sedan, but it was really for my 2 teenage children (at least that's what they said)!  In 1988 my daughter ordered a Mustang GT and today my son, Steve owns it.  All my life I've had horses, but I injured my back & can't ride.  My brother, who works for a Ford Dealership in Ventura, California, knew I wanted a convertible and in September of 04 he called to tell me that the Ford Mustang was going retro to 1967!  Here was my opportunity to "have my cake & eat it too!"  I could "ride" my "horses" (under the hood) and have my convertible!  And so we "watched" my car be built!  I have records from the time she was a "thought", to the day she got her VIN numbers, to the day she left the factory & traveled on the railroad to New Jersey!  She arrived in Newburgh, New York on the 9th of May 2005 and by 7pm I was taking my first ride - with the top down and have loved each & every ride to date!  My greatest pleasure was joining the Mustang Club of Orange County.  I'm very proud to be the owner of a Mustang & proud to share my love of the car with others.
